The Hyundai Creta facelift, which will go on sale in India on January 16, will compete with the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the soon-to-be Tata Curvv, among others.

For a nominal fee of Rs 25,000, Hyundai Motor India today announced that reservations for the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift are now being accepted. On January 16, the new version of the market-leading mid-size SUV will go on sale. We anticipate the car will achieve even greater volume with this mid-life upgrade than it did in 2023, when it sold about 155,000 units, making it the company’s best-selling vehicle of the year.

The news that the new Hyundai Creta facelift will debut in 2024 was first reported by India Today. Reservations for the SUV can be made at any Hyundai dealership or online at Hyundai.com/Click To Buy.

The Hyundai Creta was introduced in India in July of 2015. The fact that a Hyundai Creta now accounts for one in three mid-size SUVs sold in India is testament to its enormous appeal. As of right now, the SUV has sold more than 950,000 units domestically.

Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” worldwide design language is used in the 2024 Creta facelift. The SUV has new quad-beam LED headlamps on either side of a revised grille. The DRLs are joined by an LED strip, and there are new LED positioning lamps. The taillights are a single, integrated device that imitates the front LED DRL setup. There have even been redesigns to the front and rear bumpers. The car also sports new alloy wheels. The appearance of the SUV has undergone significant updates.

A digital instrument cluster and integrated infotainment screen are the most notable modifications found even inside the interior, namely on the dash. To operate HVAC features, a new touch display has been added, providing even more premiumness. The steering wheel on the updated Creta is also revised. The SUV comes standard with six airbags, but the top-tier models also include an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

With the 2024 Creta facelift, Hyundai will offer six monochromatic color options: Atlas White, Abyss Black, Titan Grey, Ranger Khaki, Fiery Red, and a brand-new Robust Emerald Pearl. There’s only one dual-tone color available, which is Black Roof with Atlas White. The 2018 Creta facelift comes in seven trim levels: E, EX, S, S (O), SX, SX Tech, and SX (O).

In terms of engine choices, the Hyundai Creta 2024 is available with three different motors. The 1.5-liter Kappa Turbo GDi gasoline engine (160 PS and 253 Nm) brings back the turbo gasoline option. This engine is also used in the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift. Next up are 1.5-liter MPi gasoline (115 horsepower and 144 Nm) and 1.5-liter U2 CRDi diesel (116 horsepower and 250 Nm) choices.

Four gearbox options are available for the new Hyundai Creta: a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT), an intelligent variable transmission (IVT), and a 6-speed automatic transmission (AT).

The redesigned Hyundai Creta will compete with the Kia Seltos, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and the soon-to-be Tata Curvv, among other vehicles. The pricing of the 2024 Hyundai Creta facelift (ex-showroom) is anticipated to be between Rs. 11 lakh and Rs. 20 lakh.
