One of the most stylish charging options available for Apple customers is the Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger from stuffcool. Here’s why we believe that.

One thing I want to be clear about is that if you ever stop by my place, please don’t mind if you occasionally see wires and chargers. Although I don’t like to be disorganized, it makes sense that I would have cables and power adapters everywhere considering how many devices I own. I have a decent possibility of having a variety of chargers because I live in the Apple ecosystem, and I’m sure you do too. It wasn’t until I started using the Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger from Stuffcool that I considered a simpler way to charge. The charging station, which costs Rs 4,990, charges the iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods simultaneously and comes in a stylish box. It also functions as a multi-device charging dock. I tested Stuffcool’s new 3-in-1 wireless charger this past week to see if wireless charging has becoming more commonplace or if it is still a curiosity. This is my evaluation.

Sleek and foldable of Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger from Stuffcool:

I didn’t realize the Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger from stuffcool was a charger when I first saw it. It features an unusual fold-out shape and is made of high space-grade anodized aluminum. I can take it on out-of-town travels, which I do often. It is really small when compared to other wireless chargers. This item doesn’t take up much room on any nightstand or desk arrangement at 15.6 cm long and 7.5 cm wide. I’ve moved this charger around, and it looks fantastic no matter where you keep it. Its charging pad, which is compatible with MagSafe, is hung on a vertical arm above the base. It has enough strength to securely hold your phone in either a vertical or horizontal orientation.

In fact, even when I turned the entire charger upside down, the phone remained attached.

This design has the benefit of allowing me to charge my iPhone in both ways even when I flip it from portrait to landscape mode while it’s connected to the charger. It’s a feature absent from other wireless chargers. I can switch this device on without plugging the charger’s wire into my laptop because it comes with its own power adapter, which is compatible with USB-C.

In any case, the charging unit for the Rover is located at the device’s base thanks to its design. Although the main purpose of this is to charge AirPods, you may also use it to charge your iPhone.

Although you won’t receive the same charging speed as you would with the MagSafe pad for the iPhone, it’s still a terrific add-on. The Apple Watch contains a flippable charger located at the rear of the device. Furthermore, I think this setup looks really nice.

On the base, there is a charging indication that turns blue when no device is presently charging and green while devices are charging.

What a wireless charger should have
Make sure to conduct some study before giving a wireless charger some thought. When purchasing a wireless charger, there are several factors to take into account, including its size and shape, power needs, charging speed, heat control, amount of noise it makes (if any), and brand recognition.

Since I’ve been using wireless chargers for so long, I always verify their effectiveness by setting an iPhone on the charging pad with its battery completely depleted, then checking the phone’s battery level after 30 minutes and then again after around an hour.

Testing the Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger from Stuffcool:

This kind of wireless charging station is intended for those who have more than one Apple product, such as an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and AirPods, and wish to charge them all at once. The fact that these three-in-one chargers function without requiring you to plug wires into any of your devices is possibly their greatest benefit. Considering how often I travel for work, I had been waiting ages for a solution like this. Naturally, using wireless chargers has advantages and disadvantages, which I shall discuss shortly.

To start, the Rover charging station is compatible with Apple’s MagSafe technology, which facilitates and standardizes wireless charging. The main advantage of MagSafe is that it allows for faster wireless charging of phones, up to 15 W, as opposed to the 7.5 W that many of the older Qi chargers offered. This is because the phone adheres to the pad at a sweet spot when it is connected.

If you have an iPhone 12 or later, this charger is the fastest alternative because it offers full 15 W MagSafe charging. During my testing, the MagSafe-compatible pad provided 15 W of charging power to the iPhone 15 Pro, in addition to simultaneously charging the Watch and AirPods. To be clear, the Apple Watch surfaces and AirPods do not support MagSafe; only the phone charging pad does. According to Stuffcool, the Apple Watch can only be wirelessly charged at 2.5 W and AirPods at 3 W. But you still need to utilize a wire to charge your iPhone as quickly as possible. Once more, using wireless technology is primarily about convenience rather than speed. Overnight charging is a better alternative due to the restrictions of wireless charging. But once more, you can use your iPhone as a smart display on your desk or in the kitchen if you have a gadget like the Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger. Rover 3-in-1 wireless charger from stuffcool, which costs Rs 4,990, could seem pricey to some, but if you’re looking for a single charging station that can simultaneously charge your Apple Watch, iPhone, and AirPods, a multi-device wireless charger seems like a better option.
