Satya Nadella is only the third person to lead Microsoft besides co-founder Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer, since the company was innovated in 1975.

Satya Nadella lately reported how he felt when he came to know that he was going to be the new Microsoft CEO in 2014. The 56- time-old was at the Axel Springer’s Berlin headquarters for an interview after entering an award when he revealed the sap about the corner moment, the Times of India reported.

” Having grown up at Microsoft, first during Bill (Gates)’s term, and also Steve (Ballmer)’s term, I do not suppose I ever got up in the morning and allowed that eventually Microsoft would have neither Bill nor Steve. And relatively honestly, when Steve blazoned that he was going to leave, it was a real shock to me,” Nadella said.

“I remember one of the board members asking me, “Do you want to be the CEO?” quite well. “Only if you want me to be the CEO,” I retorted. I informed Steve of this since the board members were feeling ‘ You know, if you want to be the CEO, you really need to want to be the CEO.’ I said,’ God, I have not allowed about it, I do not know.’ Steve was veritably intriguing. He said,” Being authentic is the best course of action since it’s too late to make changes.’,” Satya Nadella said.

He’s only the third person to lead Microsoft since the company was innovated in 1975, only co-founder Bill Gates and Steve Ballmer have headed it.
