The fiercely competitive entry-level EV market will see the Gensol electric vehicle make its debut.

The future electric vehicle from Gensol Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd. (GEVPL) has been hinted at; it would be on sale in March of the following year. Additionally, Gensol is in the ride-hailing market with BluSmart, which operates a fleet of entirely electric vehicles.

The Gensol electric vehicle is a compact vehicle with two doors and seats for two people. The design is quite straightforward and resembles little automobiles found in Europe. The oval headlamps with halogen lights and LED DRLs are positioned on either side of the front’s high-set nose. It has alloy wheels and a sizable glasshouse on the body.

According to Gensol, the EV would have a 200 km range and a top speed of 80 kmph, which indicates that cities will be the primary use for this vehicle. In the meanwhile, the cabin has blacked-out surfaces, manual air conditioning controls, and an infotainment display.

Together with more sophisticated features, Gensol will be providing the automobile with a moonroof and cloud analytics powered by AI. The brand has not yet released any information regarding the EV’s dimensions or powertrain.

Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd. Anmol Singh Jaggi commented on the teaser, saying, “With great pride, we unveil the first glimpse of our new modern car, significantly contributing to the larger mission of decarbonizing the planet.” Developed to tackle the difficulties of everyday urban transportation, Our assembled-in-India all-electric vehicle is set to transform emission-free transportation.”

The Gensol EV will be produced at the Chakan, Pune, site of the company. There is a testing track included with this facility. As the launch date approaches, more information about the vehicle will become available.
