The Adani Group declared that none of its subsidiaries were involved in any way, either directly or indirectly, in the building of the Uttarkashi tunnel.

The Adani Group We’ve noticed that some people are attempting to use the sad collapse of a tunnel in Uttarakhand to associate us with evil. An Adani spokesman issued a statement saying, “We vehemently condemn these attempts and those behind them.”

The Adani Group stated that none of its subsidiaries are involved in any way, either directly or indirectly, in the tunnel’s development.

On November 12, a section of the 880-kilometer Char Dham project’s tunnel from Silkyara to Barkot collapsed, trapping 41 laborers.

The tunnel’s construction is being managed by the Navayuga Engineering Company Limited. The Adani Group declared that it neither owns nor holds any shares in the business that is building the tunnel.

with addition to the ongoing top-down drilling, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) announced the start of manual horizontal digging to aid with the rescue of the 41 trapped workers in the Silkyara tunnel in Uttarkashi.

Upon encountering impediments and becoming entangled in debris, the auger drill was stopped and manual drilling was decided upon.

Though other proposals, such horizontal drilling from the Barkot end of the tunnel, are in development, the focus is currently on vertical and manual horizontal drilling methods.
