All of the future Mahindra SUVs that will go on sale in India sometime in the new year and cost about or more than Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom) are detailed here.
1. Updated Mahindra XUV400:
A larger touchscreen infotainment system, a redesigned instrument console, a revamped dashboard and center console, more upscale surface quality materials and trimmings, etc. are just a few of the new elements coming to the updated Mahindra XUV400’s interior. When it arrives in early 2024, it probably won’t receive any hardware advancements.
2. Mahindra XUV300 EV:
The sub-four-meter electric SUV(Mahindra SUVs), which is based on the ICE XUV300, will employ a smaller battery pack than the XUV400 and be positioned to rival the Tata Nexon’s entry- and mid-level models. The base model might retail at approximately Rs. 14.5 lakh (ex-showroom), and its range might be about 350 miles.
3. 5-Door Mahindra Thar:
The new Mahindra Thar, which will be available with additional features at a starting price of Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom), will have a longer wheelbase than the current three-door model and more interior space. It will be powered by the familiar 2.2L diesel and 2.0L petrol engines with options for manual and automatic transmissions.
4. Six-Seater Mahindra XUV700:
There are currently five- and seven-seater versions of the Mahindra XUV700 available in India, where it has had great success. It has already been sighted in testing. A new three-row model with a captain seat arrangement will be released next year in an effort to further extend its range. Given its target market, which includes both family-oriented consumers and owners who enjoy being driven around, it may gain some special features.
5. Mahindra XUV.e8:
Mahindra SUVs plans to introduce the production version of the August 2022-unveiled XUV.e8 concept before the end of 2024. Inside, it will have a triple screen arrangement, and the XUV700 will share the same equipment list. Regarding styling, the back end will mainly be similar to the XUV700, while the front end will be more like the concept. It can come with a single or dual e-motor system and cost well over Rs. 28 lakh (ex-showroom).
