Maruti Suzuki Jimny rivals the Mahindra Thar.

Maruti Suzuki India has released the Thunder version of the off-road vehicle, bringing the Jimny closer to the budget of its customers. The Jimny Zeta costs Rs 2 lakh more than the Jimny Thunder version.

The Jimny Thunder variant of the Maruti Suzuki Nexa is priced at Rs 10.74 lakh (ex-showroom) on their website. For a brief time only, this is the beginning pricing.

Regarding the modifications to the Jimny Thunder edition, Maruti Suzuki India has not released any official information.

The 1.5-liter K15B petrol engine, which produces 134Nm of peak torque and 105PS of maximum power, powers the Maruti Suzuki Jimny Thunder edition. It has choices for both 4-speed AT and 5-speed MT.

The chassis of the Jimny is a ladder frame design. It comes equipped with low-range transfer gear (4L mode) as standard with ALLGRIP PRO 4WD technology.

Zeta and Alpha versions of the Jimny are still available. Their prices (ex-showroom) are listed below.

Zeta MT – Rs 12.74 lakh
Zeta AT – Rs 13.94 lakh
Alpha MT – Rs 13.69 lakh
Alpha AT – Rs 14.89 lakh
Dual Tone Alpha MT costs Rs 13.85 lakh.
Alpha AT (Dual Tone) – Rs 15.05 lakh
